November 12, 2013 Writer's Digest November Pad Challenge

It’s that time again. Time for another “Two for Tuesday” prompt. Do one, do the other, do both, whatever keeps you poeming this month:
  1. Write a poem about your happiest moment. Well, doesn’t have to be yours actually. Just a moment that is someone’s happiest.
  2. Write a poem about your saddest moment. Conversely, take happy, flip it, and make it the saddest moment.

With Paint/Without
It doesn't take much
Really
To send me over the moon
I am happiest
At work
Splashing red, yellow and blue

When I have squeezed
The last of the paint
From the tube
The sky is grey
I am miserable

Written by a true artist! Love the use of color to evoke mood. Which is what you do with both brush and pen, my friend.

when the escape comes to an end...when the creativity is done, you can def feel empty....
