December 29, 2013 Sunday Whirl #141/Poetry Pantry #182

Last Day of the Year
Time to think about
The year passed
As it becomes an
Integral map
The answer to
What is to come
Softly last year
Takes its’ final breath

The pink tint
Of sunrise
The beginning
Of the new-year
A tincture
To heal
Past hurts

Time to think
Of the year passed
Last chance to say
Goodbye
To all that was
And all that
Could not be
Synchronize
Desires for the
Coming year
Blast into
The future

...Coyote’s tip
For success
Keep your
Head down
Stay quietly
On the move

Ahhh... the last quiet breaths of the year. Great way to weave these thoughts and feelings into the Wordle. I love the coyote's tip at the end. Perfect.

You caught the mood of the closing year... and the light of the year yet to be...it is always a time for thought....

Love this Annell, you call up the memories of the year just passed and add the whisperings of the new one coming soon. Love coyote's tip, real wisdom. And yes, I know how to make snow on Wordpress (last setting on general settings list on sidebar under dashboard). But, I don't think that will help you here, sorry. It only lasts until Jan. 4th. Have a beautifully creative New Year my friend. Got your card, thank you,

Elizabeth

You had some help with this no doubt with your coyote friend howling his goodbye to the year, hoping for careless neighbours and a full belly.

Coyote gave a good tip. I enjoyed where you took the words. I like the image of last year taking its last breath.

The years final breath being softly taken somehow seems just right. Especially in light of earlier turmoil . . . Happy New Year to us all . . .
