June 11, 2014 for Gabriella's prompt at Poetry Jam: Lost and Found

Something Lost
Each life unique
Each breath gives meaning
Tender be the night
I the listener of your song
Try to remember
When I saw it last
And where I put it
But no matter how hard I try
It’s resting place remains
Unknown to me

I love "I the listener of your song"..........I hope you are safely back home now at the foot of your beloved mountain. Glad you are writing. Walk in the desert today - you might hear just a whisper of that song.

Sometimes the songs help us to remember. And I hope that listening will give you comfort, Annell.

This is so true and one of life mysteries. tenderness and life are there to be treasured.

It is hard when we cannot remember the song of a person who once was dear to us. But I have found that sometimes, when we no longer try to hear it, it might come back to us unexpectedly.
