Sport/dVerse -- Haibun Monday

Sport

When it comes to sports, I really have nothing to say.  Unless you are talking about a person, that is considered as a “good sport.”  Generally, one who can laugh at himself doesn’t take himself too seriously.  Can be the “butt” of a joke, without anger.

When a joke is taken too far or a person is targeted too often by ridicule or hurtful humor, that person can become, what is known as a “bad” sport.

On any day
Morning, noon, or nighttime, too
His own antics make him laugh

I don't know much about sports either. Being a good or bad sport might best be directed at a the one telling the joke.

HA! It seems we're both equally inept in the sporting world, but good sports. YAY for us!

Wow...Annell, that's a unique take. In today's world such people are rare.

Feel so relatable, the sport and your take. It was refreshing to read and the haiku was so fitting!

Wisdom, here, Annell. I wonder if all artsy people are missing sports-genes. :o)
