Fragments G&C #155 30"x30"  gouache on w/c paper

I Cried Out

I am alone
Crying
Regularly touching my eyes
Yesterday I cried aloud
I gathered the tears in a bucket
Drained my heart
Ordinarily I hold my breath
Under threat of losing control
Today I gave up
 I cried out

  2. Annell,

And I think that both body and spirit are refreshed by a bout of crying, letting go and then replenishing one's attitude..

  4. I do understand this. Sometimes it IS hard to hold everything inside, and one HAS to cry out!!

  7. This is how grief catches us, and we must let the tears fall. I like especially "I gathered the tears in a bucket". Good one, Annell. And after the tears - comes the rainbow, and a lift of the heart.
