Trees reflected in the window,
Under the deep inky blue sky,
I am reminded,
The forest is so near, and there is
A hidden world, parallel to our own
And it..... continues.

Beautiful thoughts, Annell. Yes, a hidden world, so parallel to our own!
Ah yes, the hidden world got me too..well done!
Annell this is brilliant and beautiful...i love it! :-)
I sometimes wish I was in that parallel hidden world - it all seems much nicer there
your pump is primed
wonderful poem
touching observation
and lingering words....!
As commented above as well, hidden world was an amzing thought, and i so wish to explore the other side as well... nice magpie
Endless as a New Mexico landscape under an equally endless sky.
Lovely!
That's pretty!
Funny. I didn't see the trees. Excellent observation and a beautiful bit of poetry.
a hidden world reflected...love this
This is a dreamy Magpie ... thanks for visiting. I must run .........
but sometimes if we look out of the corner of our eyes we can see it and it is what inspires us...nice annell...
I loved this, wonderful magpie. :-)
"..A hidden world, parallel to our own.." A clever line.
Beautiful. The reflection is parallel but the world is ours to be in and of and to take responsibility it continues.
Now for something completely different. What colour are you wearing to the ball?
What a wonderful beginning to interesting story... I love it
I like this
"The forest is so near, and there is
A hidden world, parallel to our own"
it's a lovely thought.
A world, parallel to our own...
For some reason I can hear that as if spoken by Rod Serling. wow. (for the younger crowd, Rod Serling; as in THE TWILIGHT ZONE).
lovely and well put. Nice Magpie
Impressive. The progress of this is smooth and lovely.
Indeed, it does, amazing lady. Thanks for this.
The proximity of two worlds pleasantly expressed.
The well hidden world, beautifully reflected.
Yours is so peaceful. I wish I could have tapped into that when I wrote mine!
My Magpie for this week.
This is beautiful
so well said, so briefly
yet layers upon layers...
Rene
Beautiful take on this. I like the idea that you focused on the reflection of the trees and not the ghost-like image. Well done!
love the parallel worlds....great magpie..bkm
Yes it does continue...
And it offers so much--dreams, mystery, hope. But can we step into that unknown? Your post makes me think of Hawthorne's "Young Goodman Brown" and the role of fear in our lives. How great to throw that off and just go!
