#34 Triumph
TRIUMPH
This shinny star
I wear upon my dress
Is not a token
Of what I call success.
But instead a beacon,
Just to light the way,
A little encouragement,
A triumph for today.

smiles. so nice you let it shine for all to see...
I like this ... you could also use it as a ticket to ride this week on Weaver's Poetry Bus! The prompt is 'Star.'
A bit of personal triumph each day is a good way to nurture the Artistic soul. Good one,
Elizabeth
your poetry is once again simply wonderful
Short but very sweet message! I like!
Loved it. One bit of life at a time, small but important triumphs!
Today's triumphs are of utmost importance. This is very nice, dear, but one small thing: you must change the spelling of "shinny" to its correct "shiny"!
Editors are so useful to find, aspecially when they are shiny too! LOL
And one would be Especially useful to me! LOL
This one is particularly meaningful to me, having just suffered a fright and looked death in the face I am learning to live one day at a time - shall think of wearing a star after reading this.
