GLOVES OF PROTECTION
The gloves of
The horseman,
The maiden,
The repairman,
The plumber,
The workman,
The Indian Chief,
The biker,
The bowler,
The skier,
The raider,
The farmer,
Like dark ravens,
Ready for adventure.
Or a dark secret place,
To hide the evidence.
Wrap in warmth,
Hands that are,
Hands that do,
Hands that play,
Hands that work.
Each hand different,
Unique, one of a kind,
And yet a perfect pair.
Perfect to hold the heart.
In need of protection,
Against the North Wind's howl,
And other calamities encountered.

I really enjoyed reading this. You've covered just about everything :)
Lovely treatise on hand coverings,

vivid imagery, well done.
a great idea to list different uses/people for gloves. interesting!
I have to 'hand it to you' Annell! Lovely exploration of ideas and I wish you a productive 2011.
Like the first part and all the different uses for gloves, then comes the ravens as turn line that creates another list. Wonderful images,
Elizabeth
And don't forget those surgical gloves! This is a great list, a nice take on both themes.
