My Son
I will never know if I did a good job
Did the best I could
Loved him every day
Every night
Every minute ticked
By the clock in the hall
He grew tall like the clock
Had ideas of his own
He worked with what he had
He will always be my son
And I love him still

Beautiful, Annell. We do love them, no matter what.
That question is a tough one Every detail you give shows you gave him the love to live.
A son is always a son. A mother is always a mother. And love is love.
A glowing tribute to both you and your son! Love it!
he will def always be your son...no matter what
and you know...we all just do our best
the best we can for them...

This is a very moving poem Annell....I think there is always that wondering....very beautifully said!
There's nothing like that kind of love. I hope you have a blessed Mother's Day, Annell.
ah a mother's heart....beautifully written...
That he grew like the clock shows the very best job was done x
Annell, mom taught me great lessons and she had a creative spirit. I wish she could have been around to see my poetic successes. The best thing she did for me though, was love me unconditionally. I thank you in her stead. I'm sure your son appreciates this.
That's what mothers are made of...giving unconditional love to their children..
beautiful poem Annell.
