October 4, 2016 dVerse/Razzle Dazzle Sparkle

Razzle Dazzle Sparkle

all something i see     something we all see     the showiness of stars

showing off                shooting off                    capturing me

astonishing me     my mouth open in amazement       across the sky

bright star explodes      shower of stars           like rocket's bright glare

frozen in amazement    on the darkest night          the brightest light

on the surface of the waves         effervescence    sparkles

florescence      tiny sea creatures shine     in a world i do not know

a parallel universe      my world above          see in the world between

a glimpse of the world below   mysterious individuals   i'll never know

on another dark night        lightening flashes              lights up the sky

extends over the earth      lights my path         again the brightest light

rises above the mountain in morning    the brilliant sun       high above

reflects on shards of broken glass    sparkles reflected      in your eyes

the same color                  as the sky...                         that far away blue

Wonderful poem...the stars above us, the tiny glowing sea creatures below us, and us in the middle of it all.

Ah, yes. The sparkle of stars. The glisten of sea. Perfect.

Somehow my comments are not appearing on a number of the posts I replied to yesterday??? Have been having trouble with my internet connection so apologies -- BUT, what I said before was this --
I LOVE the idea of comparing the world above, the world we stand in, and the world below us within the waters. The creatures within the seas -- the brilliance and shine of the starry sky, the glistening waters. Beautifully done. And I always enjoy your format.

So beautiful, especially the thought of the tiny sea creatures, shining in that world we do not know.......and I can SEE the blue of his eyes - that faraway sky blue.

So lovely the way you highlight the earth's dazzles and mysteries and end with a more intimate dazzle of sky blue eyes.
