Fuyu No Tsuki–Winter Moon–dVerse Haibun Monday
Winter moon, you shine your cool light into my bedroom. You turn my red room, a cool blue. Disturb my sleep and will not let my poor kitty rest. I pull my shades, for you are too loud for me to sleep.
You slip your icy fingers through my window, and beneath my covers, which I draw closer to my body. My kitty curls against me, asks to come under the covers.

I love that the moon is too loud to let you sleep! This is so charming in its tone. The haiku is most excellent. I'm glad you have the kitty to help keep you warm.
I'm a full moon insomniac so I can related to this. Love how the kitty is like a little hot water bottle.
I can sometimes see the moon through the bedroom window beyond the other buildings. It can be beautiful.
I find this a very quiet, restful poem, even though the colours and the noise make us and the kitten restless. Maybe because nothing else matters.
I like the loudness of the light, that confusion of sensation.
That's a bonus! Another moon and cat haibun! I do love moonlight but it does tend to keep me awake with its 'icy fingers'. Keep that kitty close, Annell!
i smiled at the moon being too loud, she does scream for attention doesn't she?!
The sense of to loud makes so much sense when it's insomnia... The moment shared with a kitty makes so much sense.
I love this ironic ode you've composed in prose form, with a fine send-off haiku. Love the vivid imagery of the winter colors that you portray.
