Three Little Pigs
Three little pigs lived up the hill
A home of their own
Was their dream
They quickly got to work
Built a home of sticks
Didn’t like it
One of stone
Not so much
At last they built
A house by Frank Lloyd Wright
A right smart little home
Just right for pigs
Cantilevered out from the hill
A home of their own
Sure enough
The wolf came by
Knocked on the door
And stroked his chin
They opened the door
Let the wolf in
They all became fast friends
Fell in love over a cup of tea
And even married…
Three pigs and thee

Now that is a good ending - or beginning? - of the tale. I invited my wolf in too. Best thing I ever did. Smiles.
This made me smile 😊 Beautifully rendered.
Oh, I like how you built it around the architecture of the place called home. A Frank Lloyd Wright house would be quite wonderful to live in indeed, especially Fallingwater.
It's such a sweet fairy-tale, the pigs and the wolf all merry and getting along well.

Is this the poem you meant for Sherry's prompt? I hope so because I am commenting on it rather than the poem ahead of it. I like how you ended the poem. Inviting the wolf in made me smile hugely. I like the wolf and pigs all happy and being friends. an excellent way to end a story.
Thanks Sherry.
Thanks for your comment, Sanaa.
Thanks for your comment, HA.
Thanks, Toni.
Awwww. A much happier ending, indeed. :)
