In Darkness/poets united midweek motif - darkness

In Darkness

In darkness
Bulbs prepare for spring
Where the brightest light is found
Where you hear the tiny voice

In darkness
Where you find yourself
Where there is no other
Sleep

In darkness
New ideas grow
A place to heal
Peace is born

I love the idea of darkness as a place to heal, where seeds of new growth germinate. As a former gardener, i love this perspective on darkness.

A simple truth that is way to easy to forget. Let us use the gift of darkness to nurture our seeds.

New life is so precious we must always be careful not the tempt fate by showing both ourselves and our babies to too much scrutiny. This applies to all living things as there is always somebody ready to gobble us up!

I love to think of darkness as a healing place too. It's a period of gestation before the birth of light. Beautiful.

I’m drawn to the darkness where bulbs prepare for spring and new ideas grow, Annell, and one can heal.

Darkness certainly isn't all bad. It has its useful purposes, and we can take advantage of them if we will.
