You Draw Your Sword/imaginary gardens with real toads

You Draw Your Sword

I try to capture the scene
My camera at the ready
You won’t keep still
Constantly moving

Constantly drawing your sword
Challenging thought
Causing a scene
You love conflict

It seems everyday
For the past two years
You seek the limelight
As if anyone could ignore you

Churn the waters
Muddy the view
Cause anxiety
And like a child you always need more

Oh yes, this is the terrible truth. A pouting child at the climate change conference. Sigh.
