WHEN UP IS DOWN AND DOWN IS UP/The Sunday Whirl Wordle #353 -- Poets United

The answer made visible
Still invisible
Hard to understand

Packed in a cardboard box
As sardines are packed
Stacked close together
Belong together

We laugh our carefree laugh
Holding hands
Never to release
Strolling in the direction of home

Cutting corners never works
Somethings hard to skip
Like a game of hopscotch
No marker retrieved
Back to beginning
Do not pass “GO”

Enemy in hiding
Ambush pending
Put on the blindfold
Spin around
And advance backwards
Pin the donkey on the tail

I love the holding hands, heading towards home. We dont like the ambushes, but know they are there.

Your opening reminds me that too often we just can't see what is right in front of us....'hard to understand' indeed.

Pinning the donkey on the tail is something I'm an expert at!

Sometimes it's just that, what's needed, a veer from the ordinary, a dare, grab the event and give it an absurd twist like the donkey to the tail

Much love...

Christmas Comes Slowly/dVerse/early

Christmas Comes Slowly I avoid what comes too early Instead will wait for Christmas A long wait indeed But send my love for now ...
